3. Will Evident provide training & technical support?

We train you and your dental techs to become exocad "ninjas". Being one of the world's largest design center, we train more than 200 dental techs on exocad every year! We have developed a 4 stage training program that we offer FREE to all our exocad customers.

Is our technical support any good? Our support is f***ing amazing! We know the ins & outs of exocad, after-all we design thousands of cases every day! You will have access to Evident support at all times, we can help you set up exocad and iron out any technical problems you face.

4. What is the difference between perpetual & flex license?

The Flex License is a subscription-based plan with a lower initial cost, included software upgrades and free replacement of lost/ stolen dongles. With the Flex License, you can activate/deactivate modules with ease, so you save on running costs and only ever pay for the features that you want.  

The Flex-license is ideal for those who want extra freedom to experiment with their Exocad software.  

The Perpetual License is a single-time purchase license that is valid indefinitely. With an optional upgrade contract, you can activate add-on modules (at additional cost), access dentalshare for free, and ensure your software is always up to date.

As you can cancel the upgrade contract at anytime without any additional cost, the perpetual license is ideal for long-term use.

5. Is the subscription fee optional?

The subscription fee depends on which exocad license you purchase.  

With the perpetual license, the upgrade contract is completely optional and can be canceled at anytime without incurring additional costs.  

With the Flex-License, the subscription fee is required to keep your exocad running and up-to-date.  

6. How does an open system like exocad benefit you?

exocad's open architecture gives you the freedom to own your workflow. Now you can get that milling machine you always wanted or the Medit scanner which will save you thousands of dollars and is much more accurate than the competition. This is what makes exocad great, you have options!

7. What languages can I take the exocad training sessions in?

exocad training sessions will be available in English language only.

  • Screen resolution: WQHD (2560x1440), recommended: UHD (3840x2160)
  • Power: 750+ Watt

Minimum hardware configuration to run exocad DentalCAD

  • CPU: Quad-Core and 2.8 Ghz
    Note: AMD Ryzen ZEN2 CPUs e.g. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or 3900X are supported starting with 2.3 Matera version (EngineBuild 7174 or newer), released by exocad in August/September 2019.
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX or AMD Radeon series dedicated GPU with at least 1 GB graphics memory, OpenGL 4, DirectX 11.1, Shader Model 5 and a graphics driver dated August 2017 or newer.
  • Minimum screen resolution: 1080p (1920x1080), if a DPI setting of 100% is used. If you use a higher DPI setting, a higher resolution is required!
  • Power: 450 Watt

Minimum hardware configuration to run exoplan

  • CPU: Quad-Core and 2.8 Ghz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia or AMD Radeon dedicated GPU with at least 2 GB video RAM or better, OpenGL 4, DirectX 11.1, Shader Model 5 and a graphics driver dated August 2017 or newer
  • Screen resolution: 1080p (1920x1080), if a DPI setting of 100% is used. If you use a higher DPI setting, a higher resolution is required.
  • Power: 450 Watt
